WoW! You have a full time job just taking care of yourself. But, it will be so worth it once that little one gets here. I can't wait to see pictures of all three of your kiddos!

Oh Jill, how I wish I could give you a hug! I know how hard it is, but just think, at the end of all this yuckiness you will have a sweet baby! It IS worth it! How funny that I just posted this today! I knew God wanted me to post about this for someone else wondering about the Zofran pump...God knew you needed to read it. His perfect timing! The pump will definitely help since it is a constant drip of medicine. Hopefully the approval will come through quickly so you can get some relief! This is my second time with Hyperemesis, so feel free to email me and vent...because I totally get it! I found that not everyone understood the gravity of how sick I was because it isn't common.

It may be the difference between insulin & my medicine. One your body makes, the other is foreign. It may be the tape.

No not normally unless he wears it in too long, but he wears his 3 or 4 days at a time. You can see spots where he has worn it in the past. Is it the tape that is making you splotchy? I know on me the tape breaks me out. Let me know what the nurse says. Hope to see you this weekend!

I am so glad a friend referred me to your blog!
I'm 16 weeks with my third, and am suffering with Hyperemesis for the first time.
I've been on Zofran pill (the dis-solvable ones) for about 6 weeks now, hospitalized once, and have lost 35 pounds. It's been a rough ride.
We're in the process of being approved from a Zofran Pump and I am so relieved to see all the pieces and the parts that comes with it. It scares me to death, but not being able to take care of my 5 & 3 year old girls has been the hardest part in all of this.
I'm adding you to my blogroll & googlereads so I can follow along with another HG friend!

This is what it was like for me - except they didn't give me a bag to use for the shower. I could only shower when we changed the needle every couple of days.

You make me feel so lucky that my nausea mostly went away at 13 weeks. Hang in there!

I'm resting well, with a little help from Phenergran :) Ray has been wonderful about letting me sleep in as much as possible because it seems to help to ease into the day. I'm not sure how long I'll be on the pump. I was sick most of my pregnancy with Jonah, so I'm guessing I will be on it for quite some time.
