Jonah received a wooden Nativity set that doubles as a puzzle last year for Christmas. He was too little at the time to play with it, but this year he has enjoyed it very much (Thanks Auntie B!) Every time he plays "Baby Jesus" I will narrate the story and help him set up the Nativity scene. He has started to absorb some of it and will tell me the names of Joseph, Mary, and Jesus. He has even noticed Baby Jesus at public places and tries to tell me the parts he remembers...which makes my heart swell with pride. Yesterday as we were talking about the birth of Jesus and setting up the Nativity scene, Jonah added his own touch to the story....
Jonah told me his cars were coming to see Jesus like the Wise Men.
