**FYI: I’ve posted twice today–Don’t miss Jonah’s Homemade Valentine Tutorial**
When I was a little girl, my mom and I had a journal that we used to write notes back and forth. It was used during a difficult time for me as a child when I didn’t know how to express things that I was feeling about my parent’s divorce. The comfort of writing it all out was so much easier for me than actually having the conversation. (Hmm…some things never change) Although the journal came about during a specific time and need, we ended up using the journal for years as I entered puberty, dating, and the difficult years of “finding myself.”
I began thinking that I would like to do something similar for Ray and I to exchange “Love Notes”. A place to encourage one another and leave notes for each other…you know, the mushy love stuff. Enter the “Love Notes Journal”…
I took a plain composition notebook, some scrapbook paper, and some Mod Podge to decorate my “Love Notes” Journal. Wrote a gushy love note and tied it up with a bow! So simple, and bound to be a keepsake when we’re old!
