I was unloading the camera this morning and realized that I never posted our Halloween pictures because they were still in the camera...and since it's almost Thanksgiving, I guess I should show you our Halloween pictures. (So sorry to the grandparents and family members who have anxiously been waiting for these--this mama has been BUSY!)
Since Jonah is a very active 2 year old, I like to adapt real clothing into costumes since it will be less restricting and more comfortable for him. He loves watching the Backyardigans. His favorite "episode" is the pirate themed show. He will walk around saying "Arrrrrrgh" for the rest of the day after watching this episode (that we conveniently have recorded on the DVR for on-demand Backyardigans requests)....so I thought pirate costumes would be fitting. I had found some pirate things at the Dollar Tree too, which also solidified the choice for me. We were invited to a family costume party, so Ray and I dressed up as well....We had so much fun looking for stuff at the Goodwill to modify! Jonah was a little hesitant at the beginning of trick-or-treating, but once he figured out people would give him candy, he was all for it!
