A new mother dreams of the day she will hear the sweetest phrase on earth, "I love you, Mama." I've been waiting with anticipation, maybe with more anticipation than the first word. As Jonah has grown and accomplished milestones I've become anxious for the time he would express feelings for others. I've prayed that Jonah would be a caring and loving person, and most of the time he is. He freely gives hugs and kisses without prompting to most people he's in contact with regularly. He has hugged other children in the nursery at church. Throughout the day, he will randomly stop playing and run to give me a kiss or hug and it warms my heart every time he does it....but I've still been waiting for those words. And then, in the midst of ordinary tasks, I heard it, "I uv you". Yes, Jonah, I love you too. My cup runneth over.

Those are just the best words a mother can hear! It still melts my heart any time one of the girls says them to me!
