One thing we love about Jonah is that he loves to cuddle...always has. Last night as we were getting him to wind down for bed, he was going back and forth between mommy and daddy-cuddling for a minute, giving a kiss, and then just as we'd get settled...it was time to switch again. Slightly frustrated from all of the fidgeting, Ray finally said to Jonah, "Stay up here and cuddle with daddy." Jonah pointed to the bedroom and said, "Go cuddle in da bed with mama and dada." How could we refuse such an invitation?!?! So we dropped everything and under the covers we went for a few precious minutes of snuggle time. And what a precious time it was! Jonah showered us with kisses, pats on our heads, and told us he loved us more times than I could count. I am so glad I took the time to stop everything and unwrap that precious moment with my sweet little family because for just a few minutes, everything else that consumes our days-laundry, dishes, picking up toys-faded away and we were the only three people on the planet.
