Seems like this back-to-school season has been especially busy for us…and none of us are even officially in school! All of our normal activities have started back at the same time, most of which I have responsibilities for–MOPS & Parent’s Day Out. Pair this with some pretty large monogramming orders, serving at a Women’s Conference at church, babysitting Little Miss A,  and my head has been spinning! My mantra the past few weeks has been “Just do the next thing” as I look at my “to-do list”. I’ve found great joy in crossing things off that have been weighing me down!

Ray has started his new position at work. I think he’s enjoying the change of pace. He may have to travel a little bit in the future. The biggest blessing we’ve seen has been the raise! Normally his company caps the raises at a 5% increase, but since he was making such a big jump on the ladder, they waived it and gave him a 16% raise! Praise the Lord! This was such an answer to prayer!

Jonah has moved out of the nursery at church and is now in Sunday School! It seems like he instantly grew and is maturing so fast. I’ve loved talking to him in the van afterwards and hearing about his lessons. Surprisingly, he’s been able to recall and tell me about the Sunday School lessons with accuracy. We’ve been doing some fun things to reinforce the lessons and bridge the Home/Sunday School connection (blog post about it coming soon!)

And because Grandparents will grumble unless they see this adorable face….

To infinity and beyond!
