Russia was a fun country to study during our year of homeschool units of countries and cultures. Like all countries, Russia has folktales and we found several variations of each one. It was interesting to read each one and compare the books. During our study we also listened to and read Peter and the Wolf--something we've done before through small world play. As always, curling up on the couch with my boys to read aloud is the highlight of our homeschool day. I soak up the snuggles as much as I can while I can still get them!
